This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting 2 day old newborn baby D and his sweet 3 year old sister H (and their awesome parents!) for part one of their portrait session. We really didn't mean for it to happen that way, but baby D had plans of his own and decided to crash our pre-consult meeting! ;) I can't resist photographing a newborn baby - especially not a fresh newborn one - so I brought my camera along to get some of the individual poses done since their main goal is a family portrait during our next visit. Here is a LOVELY photo that I got of the siblings - which is so tricky to get with a 3 year old, since 3 year olds have their own agenda and you just go with that, but she was just so in love with her little brother - as you can see. I just love this image so much, everything about it, down to grandma's protective hand making sure her babies are alright. Thank you C family, can't wait to see you again soon for part 2! ~M
